  • Imaginative Sparks (Ages 5-6)

    We’re using our imaginations this week through arts and crafts, and we'll be painting, gluing, beading, drawing and more. Students will create cardboard cities, keychains with melting beads, bracelets and other unique sparkly creations, expressing their creativity throughout the week with fun hands-on activities. 
  • Sports Medley (Ages 5-7)

    Each day, children will try out a different sport, including soccer, basketball, flag football, and more. We’re introduce children to the fundamentals of the different sports and the basic skills and organization of the game. Come try something new, enjoy your favorites, or a little of both!
  • Sudsy Science Fun with Soaps and Bath Bombs (Ages 6-8)

    Making soaps and bath bombs is a creative, hands-on approach to learning chemistry. The science behind making these two fizzy and fragrant items is fantastically fascinating! Students this week will have fun coming up with their own ideas in creating and decorating their own soaps and bath bombs to bring home and share with friends and family.
  • Cardboard Academy (Ages 7-9)

    We’re in our school’s innovation BIG lab makerspace this week, transforming cardboard into dream houses, arcade games, toys or anything else your child imagines. Focus is on the development of construction and craftsmanship skills with a variety of tools and materials. Design, engineering, art, and imagination all in one!
  • Table Tennis/Ping Pong (Ages 7-9)

    This class will build a solid foundation for future ping pong success! Students will gain a general understanding of the basic rules of the game and equipment used, focus on fitness and hand-eye coordination, and all the while participate in a fun and positive environment. Beginners welcome.
  • Quilting (Ages 7-12)

    Historically thought of as a utilitarian craft, quilting has now been found to improve well-being and coordination and strengthen math skills. This class will start with a simple nine-square pillow, and then advance to more complex quilting patterns like the optical sawtooth and electric fan. Students can also make quilted items, like purses, phone cases, skirts, anything they imagine! Prerequisite to enroll: Having taken a Machine Sewing class.
  • Sci-Fi Art (Ages 7-12)

    If you travelled to another planet in the future, what creatures, architecture, vehicles, and inventions would you discover? In this class, students will be drawing in both 2D and 3D, using shading and texturing while creating unique worlds with traditional art supplies (pen, colored pencil, and marker). A portfolio of their work is sent home the final day. All drawing skill levels are welcome.
  • Football Variations (Ages 9-13)

    This week we will experience the fun and challenge of using a football in a variety of different ways! We will focus on non-contact activities that both teach and utilize the skills of throwing and catching a football. This camp will transition among activities such as flag football, football golf, ultimate football, just-for-fun skills competitions, and more. During this week, campers will experience the joys of football without the risk that accompanies the version of the sport that many of us see today. 
  • Chinese Calligraphy (Ages 10-14)

  • Intermediate Chess (Ages 6-14)

    Children who have had previous chess instruction may enroll in this intermediate-level class. Tactical skills and middle-game strategies will be emphasized as students build upon their opening knowledge and individual styles. A training tournament will be conducted each afternoon, enabling students to join theory with practice. Chess makes learning fun!
  • The Art of Seeing: Hiking and Sketching in Nature (Ages 10-14)

    This camp is about the art of seeing, as students learn how to sketch and paint what is found throughout nature. They can discover how the golden ratio naturally occurs in patterns like shells, leaves and ferns, and then draw its details and see how magical it really is. Children will have the opportunity to learn how to anatomically draw animals in their habitat, peeking out from trees. This class is appropriate for both beginning and more advanced participants; all students will be supported and encouraged at their drawing skill level.

    Each day a scrumptious, tasty pizza or pasta dish is prepared and sent home to enjoy. Children will have fun learning the science behind creating doughs and different kinds of pasta dishes and noodles.
  • Beginner Hand Sewing and Crafts (Ages 5-8)

    Learn the basics of hand sewing, weaving, and crafting in this class, created to introduce our younger students to different types of fiber arts. Students will learn basic hand sewing techniques like threading needles, tying knots, and experimenting with several types of stitches. Students can choose the specific projects they want to work on, such as hand-sewn puppets, pillows, woven rag rugs, bookmarks, and accessories. Sewing helps to build fine motor skills and finger dexterity, and most importantly, it will give their creative muscles a workout!
  • Basketball (Ages 6-8)

    This is a great opportunity for children to learn the fundamentals of basketball. Over the course of the week, they'll work on lots of skill building and play friendly games with just the right amount of healthy competition. This is the perfect camp for beginning to intermediate-level basketball players.

    Join us for an introduction to cross stitch embroidery! Cross stitch is a wonderful craft to learn; it's creative, relaxing, and enjoyable, and beautiful designs may be created with patience and attention to detail. Carmel has made many different cross stitch designs since she was young, and she'll be bringing in some of her work to inspire the students. All supplies included.
  • Cosplay Coders: Crafting Technology (Ages 11-14)

    Students will use a MakeCode editor and circuit boards to bring crafting to life. Circuit boards can be programmed to make sounds, control lights, and detect motion. Use "loops" to repeat light sequences or "if statements" to add movement conditions! The class will be crafting various projects, and students will learn how to use a circuit board and create a final project at the end of the week to be taken home. All experience levels are welcome. Circuit board and materials included.
