In this two-week production class, students become members of a small cast, and each day is filled with fun activities that build skills in musical theater performance. Every student enrolled receives a copy of the music, a rehearsal cd and the script in advance of rehearsals. Auditions take place on the first day of class. On the last day, July 19, in partnership with our Backstage Crew and Costume Crew classes, actors will present two big performances (3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.) complete with sets, costumes and lights. Our performing arts program has a team of five experienced teaching artists all led by Evergreen’s Vanessa Miller.
